Apple’s BeatsX headphones are finally launching tomorrow, and if you choose to pick them up, you’ll score three free months of Apple Music. As has been both discovered and announced via early previews of the earbuds, a special card comes inside the BeatsX’s box which includes an Apple Music redemption code. This will give you three free month’s of Apple’s music streaming service so you can start using your new headphones. It also gets Apple more users on their platform.
To enter the code, you’ll have to register your headphones over on Beats’ website with your credentials alongside the redemption code. You’ll presumably receive an email to take advantage of your free three months so be sure to keep an eye on your inbox. In addition, not only will those buying BeatsX headphones get three months free of Apple Music, but for a limited time, you can get this same perk when picking up the Powerbeats 3 Wireless, Solo 3 Wireless, Studio Wireless, and Beats Pill+.
The BeatsX earbuds are different from most other Beats products. They include the same W1 chip found in Apple’s AirPods for easy pairing with iOS devices, come with a Lightning connector rather a microUSB port for charging, feature a “Flex-Form” cable which helps with tangling, are mysteriously aren’t sweatproof like other Beats earbuds. Luckily, you do get removable fins and a carrying case with the headphones alongside up to 8 hours of battery life.
