Inside Instagram’s latest beta, multi-image albums appear to be supported. Users can now select multiple images via a long press when posting and share them as a scrollable album, a simpler solution to sharing multiple photos separately. The feature’s been locked down to advertisers exclusively, but it now looks like the platform’s 600M users will soon gain the function.

Droid-Life was among the first to discover the feature which doesn’t work exactly as intended. See, when going to publish your photos in an album, Instagram will either return an error or crash entirely. Of course, these problems are to be expected from a beta, so we expect the feature to be completed by the time v10.7 of the photo sharing app goes live for all.
