New details have emerged regarding the upcoming LG Watch Style over the past couple of days, and according to one report by Android Police, the watch’s cost will be just $249. This marks the accessory much lower than the Apple Watch which starts at $349 and even lower than Moto’s previous offering (the Moto 360) which had a price tag of $299.
Speaking to us, a trusted source claims one of LG’s upcoming Google-partnered Android Wear devices, the Watch Style, will start at $249. The entry-level Style […] will be launched alongside the LG Watch Sport, a much more fully-featured smartwatch. We don’t have pricing for that model at this time.
As is the case quite often, this is only the starting price for the LG Watch Style. With a new band or different build materials, the price may be hiked by $50-$100. Still, $249 is lower than most premium smartwatches on the market today, so at least you won’t have to cough up a big chunk of change outright for the reported Bluetooth-only smartwatch.
Also leaked are new high-resolution photos of the LG Watch Style thanks to Evan Blass on Twitter (known as @evleaks). We now have a clearer picture of what the watch will look like when it’s announced next month opposed to the previous low-quality pictures that leaked last week.

For reference, the Watch Style will feature a 10.8mm body, a 1.2-inch 360×360 display, 512MB of RAM, Android Wear 2.0, a 240mAh battery, an IP67 certified rating, and access to the Google Assistant.
