Google today released the fifth and final preview build of Android Wear 2.0 to developers for testing with various applications and debugging operations. The flagship feature of this build is iOS compatibility as previously, those running the preview software on their watch weren’t able to pair it with an iPhone. Now, Google has open the OS up to iOS pairing, marking a finalization in the beta process of Wear 2.0 before it’s officially rolled out early next month.
Developers can now also submit their Android Wear 2.0 apps to the Play Store for review, an indication that the OS update is launching very soon. In addition, bug fixes, security improvements, and some under-the-hood enhancements are also present.
