Over on Amazon, a mysterious new gadget has popped up which hasn’t been announced officially yet. It’s called the “Lenovo Yoga YB-Q501F-GG 12.2″ Tablet”, and we’re guessing it’s an upcoming addition to Lenovo’s Yoga Book family.
As you can see in the listing above, the tablet looks way too much like a Yoga Book in order not to be considered one. There’s a Halo Keyboard, a trackpad, a 360-degree hinge – but no Wacom-powered drawing pad, for some reason. This is likely due to the price of the device which is just $299.99 ($200 lower than the current Android-powered Yoga Book), but we don’t know for sure.
Specs are as follows which, notably, are rather low-end.
- 2.2 lbs/ 0.43 in thick
- 12.2-inch 1280×800 display
- Intel quad-core 2.4GHz processor
- 2GB RAM
- Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with Productivity skin on top
- 128GB storage (probably 32GB for the price, rather)
- Gunmetal Gray color
This is pretty much all we know at this point. We have yet to hear any announcements regarding a third Yoga Book other than the upcoming Chrome OS-powered option, so there’s no telling when we can expect this device to hit the market. That said, it should be relatively soon since Amazon is leaking it.
