Following the release of iOS 10.2 beta 4, Apple today has seeded developers and public beta testers with the fourth build of macOS Sierra 10.12.2 for testing. This comes two weeks after the third build of the future OS upgrade for the Mac was released.

So far, we haven’t spotted anything new or different in the third build of macOS 10.12.2. However, as per the second beta, Sierra 10.12.2 includes Unicode 9.0 emoji.

If you spot something worth noting in the latest macOS beta, email us at

To install macOS Sierra 10.12.2 beta 4 on your registered Mac, head over to the “Updates” tab in the App Store and check for updates. There, you’ll find the new build ready to install. Just click the “Update” next to the macOS Sierra 10.12.2 Beta 4 listing and restart your Mac. The process may take a little while, so be patient and don’t turn off your Mac manually if you don’t have to.
