Following today’s announcements of the iPhone 7 and Apple Watch Series 2, Apple dropped the official GM seeds of iOS 10, macOS Sierra, tvOS 10, and watchOS 3. Up until now, this software has been in beta stages for a number of weeks, however the final versions that’ll be released to the public come this fall have finally made their way to iPhones, iPads, Macs, Apple TVs, and Apple Watches everywhere that have been registered to either the developer or public beta program.

iOS10-Lock

iOS 10 will come installed on the new iPhone 7 and 7 Plus and bring to the table a new lock screen UI complete with a dedicated widgets panel, an all new Messages app, lots of improvements to Photos such as facial recognition and Memories for you to revisit past events, a Siri SDK alongside some slight tweaks to the personal assistant, an updated Maps app, an overhaul News and Apple Music app alongside the addition of lyrics in the latter, an official Home app to control smart home devices enabled with HomeKit integration, a much improved Phone app, universal clipboard, and much more.

macOS_Sierra_Notifications

macOS Sierra’s bringing Siri to the Mac alongside Picture-in-Picture mode for videos, Apple Pay support by ways of Safari, universal clipboard which works in conjunction with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, an updated Photos and Maps app with all the same features of the new versions of the software for iOS 10, a new Messages app to work alongside the one found in iOS 10, and the ability to use tabs across every application available for the Mac amongst other new features.

tvOS 10 will grant the Apple TV 4 with updates to Siri including YouTube video search, a new dark mode, Single Sign-On for pay-TV applications, support for entering text via your iPhone, an updated Photos app to correspond with iOS 10’s, improvements to Siri, a redesigned Music app, and much more.

WatchOS3_Messaging

watchOS 3 will come loaded on the new Apple Watch Series 2 and Series 1 and come with 7x faster speeds, a new Dock UI, Control Center, improved Messages app, a Breathe app for stress relief, new fitness features, fresh watch faces, and much more.

In addition, the release date of iOS 10 has been revealed which is set for September 13th. macOS Sierra will hit Macs starting September 20th. The initial launch dates of watchSO 3 and tvOS 10 haven’t been confirmed yet, however we’ll update this article when that information is obtained.

To install GM of iOS 10, head over to Settings > General > Software Update on your registered iOS device and tap “Download” when you see the option to install the final iOS 10 update. You’ll then need to sit and wait for the update to install on your device, and you may wanna be pretty patient as the update appears to be relatively large in size.

If you want to install the GM macOS Sierra on your Mac, head over to the “Updates” tab in the App Store and check for updates. There, you’ll find the new build ready to install. Just click the “Update” next to the macOS Sierra GM Seed listing and restart your Mac. The process may take a little while as the update package weighs a good hefty amount, so be patient and don’t turn off your Mac manually if you don’t have to.

To install the GM seed of tvOS 10, head over to Settings > System > Software Updates > Update Software on your Apple TV and download the updated build.

To install the GM of watchOS 3 on your Apple Watch, navigate to the Watch app on your paired iPhone and tap the “My Watch” tab. From there, go to General > Software Update and you should see the updated build ready for download. Be sure to place your iPhone on Wi-Fi while downloading this software as it’ll surely gobble up plenty of your data.
